"To forget the dead would be akin to killing them a second time."

- Elie Wiesel

A-7713. A tattoo that pierced deeper than his pale skin. The beginning of one of the world's most epic tragedies. Elie Wiesel's life had been reduced to a letter and a few numbers, his heritage marred his chances of survival. Night was such a profound book, such a deeply disturbing piece of literature. Beyond being literature, this was history. A very real part of history. History that continues to have a pulse nearly nine decades later. Elie was a beacon from a dark time in human history.

If you have not read Night, do it.

Thank you for your bravery, Mr. Wiesel. Aloha.
